Hello there and welcome to the all new learners and juniors section.

Due to the increase in the number of younger members of the band and with a rising number of learners, an extra hours practice will be provided dedicated to those less experienced players. This will be in supplement to the existing provision of playing with the main band.
The main aim of the sessions will be to aid the players to gain confidence in playing in a less formal atmosphere, while concentrating on certain aspects of playing such as sight-reading, technique’s such as double-tonguing and also to identify particular training needs.
Within this framework there will also be opportunities for non-players who wish to learn to come along and have a go, under the tuition and with supervision from a team of enthusiastic professional brass musicians.

Rehearsals will begin promptly at 6.30 pm each and every Wednesday evening (unless there are band engagements).

Come along and have some fun before full band rehearsal!
